Vice President, Multicultural Strategy
Hallmark Cards Inc.
Tara Jaye Frank

As vice president of multicultural strategy at Hallmark Cards Inc., Tara Jaye Frank is responsible for partnering across product development, marketing and retail to drive growth with an increasingly diverse consumer base. She leads the company’s newly established Multicultural Center of Excellence, whose work has inspired a more holistic approach to leveraging the nuance of culture as a foundational and innovative path to relevance. Frank began her Hallmark career as a greeting card writer in 1996 and has held both creative and business leadership positions. She was the youngest person in Hallmark’s history to be promoted into executive management and its first African American female vice president. Over a decade of leadership, coaching has made Frank a known source of guidance and inspiration for leaders who aspire to create a professional vision they can believe in and achieve. She passionately guides people toward recognizing their own professional power and the inherent value in others. She has spoken across the country on leadership topics such as emotional intelligence and practical vision and planning. Her new book, Say Yes: A Woman’s Guide to Advancing Her Professional Purpose, was written to prepare emerging women leaders to rise to higher levels of influence "in a business world that needs them more than ever."
